Gulfshore Mustangers have received the nicest Thank You card from Big Brothers Big Sisters - thanking us for all we have done for their organization and for Justyn. It was signed by everyone in the office with their personal comments.

John P. Danius, Richard Hayman and Dean Hillestad escorted Justyn and his mother to the airport on August 13th. He and his "Big" Dave Moll will be coming to a future GSMC event to share his experiences in Monterey.

Founded in 1989, the Motorsports Museum & Hall of Fame is operated by the nonprofit Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame of America Foundation Inc. The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America is a museum housing more than 40 racing and high-performance vehicles. The constantly changing collection features racers from the world of Indy cars, stock cars, Can-Am, Trans-Am, sprint cars, powerboats, truck racing, drag racing, motorcycles, air racing and even snowmobiles.
John is also a member of the Mustang Hall of Fame www.mustang.org inducted by GSMC President Dean Hillestad (then Chairman of Mustang Hall of Fame) in August of 2005.

Gulfshore Mustang Club Charity Car Wash a success
Several Gulfshore Mustang Club members took time out Saturday to wash cars and help the kids. We washed Mustangs, Ford pickups, imports, a Jeep Wrangler and a '70's era Chevy Caprice on 22' wheels among others.
Mustang good spirits abound, with old friendships renewed and new ones made, a good time was had by all and we helped the kids.
It was a WIN - WIN WIN!!!
GSMC would like to thank Eagle Car Wash and Lube, owner Chris Heidrick, manager Jeremy and staff for their generous donation of their facilities, Stephanie from Big Brothers Big Sisters for her help in standing on the roadside in the heat flagging down cars. Justyn and his mom pitched in along with Dave Moll, Justyn's "Big Brother."
Dave Moll sent an email thanking everyone in the club, as did Justyn's mother. He stated Justyn really appreciates the items he was given and he hasn't set the camera down. Sounds like we may have a budding car photographer there.
Justyn and his mother are excited about the trip to Hagerty Classic Car Insurance's www.hagerty.com Model Car Building Contest Finals to be held in Monterey CA on August 14th.
GSMC will hold a Mustang escort to take them to RSW airport on Wednesday, August 13th. We raised close to $400.00 from washing cars, donations and a raffle. - GREAT WORK!!!

Congratulations to Justyn for being one of five finalists in Hagerty Classic Car Insurance Company's Model Car Building Contest. Justyn is a participant in Big Brothers Big Sisters, he and his "Big" Dave Moll built a '66 Shelby Cobra that was the 1st Place winner in the local competition hosted by Gulfshore Mustang Club.
Welcome to the new website of the Gulf Shore Mustang Club of Southwest Florida. We are a chartered regional affiliate of the Mustang Club of America.
The club has been active in the Fort Myers - Naples area for several years. Our members have Mustangs and Shelbys from the original 64 -1/2 to the current models . Along with the diversity of years of Mustangs, our members have various interests in the hobby. These range from restoration to performance. Club activities reflect our member interests.
Of course with any group the camaraderie of the members is one of the main benefits of membership. Chances are if you are looking for a vendor or need advice on a project, you'll find a member who has been there, done that.
The Mustang was originally designed to be a car that is FUN to drive; GSMC strives to make your Mustang experience fun.
